SES Mechanical undertook a significant project valued at over £150K, in The Old Hall, in Stuntney – a stunning Jacobean house. Our team were responsible with delivering mechanical services for the newly constructed guest accommodation wing to enhance the venues amenities and ensure guest satisfaction and comfort.
The project involved installing additional heating and water systems to support the new wing; this included installing a new boiler and two additional calorifiers. We also provided comprehensive piped services and underfloor heating, as well as plumbing for en suite bathrooms.
A key feature of our installation was the wet underfloor heating system. This solution provides consistent, comfortable warmth throughout the new wing while remaining unobtrusive, preserving the aesthetic of the stunning guest areas.
We also installed plumbing for all en-suite bathrooms, requiring meticulous planning and precise execution to ensure high-quality finishes that aligned with the stunning Jacobean architecture.
Throughout the project, our team collaborated closely with the client and other contractors to guarantee our installations seamlessly blended with the overall design and construction of the new wing. Our attention to detail and commitment to quality was paramount in delivering systems that met the high standards expected of a luxury wedding venue.

Working directly for the client, we were tasked with equipping the new guest accommodation wing with state-of-the-art heating and water systems.
A central aspect of the project was focused on improving the heating and hot water systems by adding a boiler, for warmth, in the new wing and installing two additional calorifiers to meet the increased hot water demands of the extra guest rooms.
We’ve set up brand piping systems to cover the wing and make sure every area gets a steady supply of hot and cold water. The steel column radiators we put in not provide heating but also enhance the look of the guest rooms to match the upscale feel of the venue.
We provided all piped services serving the new wing, ensuring a reliable supply of hot and cold water throughout. The installation of steel column radiators added both efficient heating and a more heritage look to the guest rooms, aligning with the venue’s traditional Jacobean styling.
