SES Mechanical partnered with the Compass Partnership of Schools Trust to carry out a £550,000 upgrade, at Cann Hall Primary School in Clacton. The focus of this project was to modernise the schools heating and hot water systems to enhance the learning environment.
Our team was responsible for replacing the existing boiler plant, water plant and controls system. The project also involved extensive heating distribution works demonstrating our expertise in renovating facilities while minimising disruptions.
Furthermore each classroom was equipped with a high level ceiling mounted fan convector with pipework installed from above.
We set up custom flue systems in every boiler room ensuring they connect to the existing chimney to preserve the buildings appearance. One of the obstacles we faced was keeping the school warm during the construction. To tackle this issue we brought in a boiler room that linked up with the heating setup. This creative solution enabled us to replace equipment with ones without causing any disruptions, to the schools heating system.
In collaboration with Munday and Cramer Ltd. For the Compass Partnership of Schools Trust SES undertook a renovation of the heating and hot water systems at Cann Hall Primary School. This included replacing the boiler plant, hot water plant controls system and carrying out heating distribution works across the school.
We upgraded two boiler rooms. One in the Main Building and another in the Year 6 block. To reduce interruptions we strategically installed heating distribution pipework at roof level to minimize impact on the schools day, to day activities.
The Cann Hall Primary School project showcased our ability to manage complex HVAC upgrades in active educational settings. Our team’s innovative use of temporary heating solutions ensured uninterrupted comfort for students and staff throughout the renovation process.
We pride ourselves on delivering a full spectrum of Mechanical Services for the Building Sector.
