SES Mechanical in collaboration, with the Compass Partnership of Schools Trust completed a £210k upgrade of the HVAC system at Southrise School in Plumstead, South London. The main goal of this project was to improve the schools heating and cooling capabilities to create a learning environment.
Our team replaced the existing boiler plant, water plant and control system. This project demonstrated our expertise in handling HVAC upgrades in settings with minimal disruption to school activities while significantly enhancing system efficiency.
A notable aspect of our solution was installing a plate heat exchanger that separated the part of the system from the new boilers. This approach not improved system efficiency but also contributed to prolonging the lifespan of the installation.
We added a custom flue system that was specially designed to end at the chimney. This setup kept the buildings look while enhancing its heating performance and energy efficiency.
